Abby joined us in July 2000. She was bred by Charles & Judith Wilson in Yorkshire. Abby has been “very lightly” competed in preliminary dressage, local hunter trials, jump cross, local level show jumping and we’ve attended many training clinics. In 2007 we decided that we’d love to breed a foal from Abby, so she will be going to stud in May 2008 and will hopefully come home in foal, we will update you on her progress. Lord David S was a magnificent, muscular, well mannered individual. This most sought after sire had everything - looks, superb conformation, athletic movement and pedigree. His stock is exceptional, not only was he the sire of outstanding winners in the show ring, but he also made his presence felt in the competition world. We are delighted to announce that Abby was scanned in foal on 16 July 2008, she had her 28 day scan on 28 July and all is well. Abby will be scanned again at 50 days at which point I am hoping my blood pressure will have returned to normal & can then sit back and enjoy her pregnancy!! Please check back for lots more updates. Abby is almost 8 months in foal and she’s looking very well, she definitely has a baby belly now. The foal would be about the size of a small lamb, weigh around 45 pounds and measure around 24 inches long. I can’t wait!! I still don’t have any names picked yet.
